Our Story

A chance visit to a prison in India opened my eyes to a world hidden in plain sight–overcrowded cells, crumbling walls, and the quiet resilience of women and children living alongside their incarcerated mothers. What began as a moment of curiosity became a turning point. I realized that behind every prison door was not just punishment, but potential –stories waiting for redemption and voices longing to be heard.

Guided by my lifelong belief in service and second chances, I founded The Prison and Beyond Initiative (PABI); a foundation committed to restoring dignity to prisoners and their families, advocating for humane prison reforms, and building bridges of hope for those society has forgotten.
